AI Meeting Notes Converter

Paste your messy meeting notes and get structured minutes, clear action items with owners, and executive summaries. Powered by AI.

Meetings consume a staggering amount of working time. Research by Doodle found that UK professionals spend an average of 10 hours per week in meetings, yet 71% consider at least some of those meetings unproductive. Poor follow-up, lost action items, and vague minutes compound the problem.

This tool takes your raw, unstructured meeting notes and converts them into clear, professional minutes using AI. It extracts action items with assigned owners and deadlines, produces a concise executive summary, and formats everything ready to share with attendees.

Whether you scribbled notes on paper, typed them in a rush, or dictated them into your phone, the converter handles messy input and produces polished output. Save hours of post-meeting admin and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

How it works

  1. Paste your raw meeting notes into the text area.
  2. Add the meeting title, date, and attendee names.
  3. The AI produces structured minutes, action items with owners, and an executive summary.

Frequently asked questions

How does the AI meeting notes converter work?
Paste your raw meeting notes, bullet points, or stream-of-consciousness text into the input field. The AI reads your content, identifies key decisions, action items, and discussion points, then restructures everything into clean, professional formats: structured minutes, action items with owners, and executive summaries.
What format should my input be in?
Any format works. You can paste messy bullet points, copy-pasted chat messages, voice transcription output, or rough handwritten-style notes. The AI is designed to make sense of unstructured text. The more detail you include, the better the output.
Who is assigned as the owner of action items?
The AI matches action items to attendees based on context. If your notes say "John to send the report", John will be listed as the owner. If an owner cannot be determined, the item is marked as TBD for you to assign manually.
Is my meeting data kept private?
Your meeting notes are sent to our secure API for processing via Amazon Bedrock AI. We do not store your meeting content after processing is complete. The data is encrypted in transit and is not used to train AI models.
What output formats are available?
Three formats: Action Items (bullet list with owners and deadlines), Formal Minutes (structured meeting record with agenda, discussion, and decisions), and Executive Summary (brief overview for stakeholders who did not attend). You can generate one or all three.
Can I edit the output after generation?
The output is presented as formatted text that you can copy and paste into your preferred tool (Word, Google Docs, email, project management software). The Pro version will include direct download options in future updates.
How long can my meeting notes be?
The free preview works on any length of text. Pro conversion supports up to 10,000 words of input, which is equivalent to roughly a 2-hour meeting transcript. For longer meetings, consider splitting into sections.
What AI model powers the conversion?
The conversion uses Amazon Bedrock with Claude Haiku, a fast and capable AI model. This ensures high-quality output with quick processing times, typically under 10 seconds for standard meeting notes.
Can I use this for interview notes or workshop notes?
Yes. While designed for meetings, the tool works well with any type of structured or unstructured notes: interviews, workshops, brainstorming sessions, phone calls, or client conversations. The AI adapts its output to match the content.
Is there a free version?
The free version shows you the word count of your input and a preview of up to 3 extracted action items using basic text analysis. The Pro version uses AI to generate comprehensive structured minutes, all action items with owners, key decisions, and follow-ups.
